Here's what you can get at your home
FAQs
It’s easy to check if you can get our M500 broadband – just head over to our postcode checker.
500Mbps broadband is ultrafast. Download an HD movie in a single minute, or stream 4K content on up to 20 devices, all at the same time! 500Mbps broadband is so fast you can do pretty much whatever you want with it – the sky’s the limit.
You should consider your internet usage and needs and also bear in mind what a 500Mbps internet connection is designed for:
- Data-heavy activities – You can stream videos in HD. Download large files superfast. Game online.
- Multiple devices at the same time – A package like our M500 broadband may be what’s needed in busy households, to help make sure everyone can rely on the internet without experiencing low speeds.
If you’re mostly using the internet for basics, like browsing, checking your emails, streaming videos in standard definition, perhaps try M125 or another of our cheap broadband deals. M500 is powerful!
The benefit of gaming on M500 Fibre Broadband, compared to our M125, M250 or M350 speeds, is that it offers:
- Higher bandwidth – So the gamer’s experience is less likely to be affected when several devices are online, at the same time.
- Faster uploads – Livestreaming and sharing your gameplay on platforms like Twitch is an easier, more enjoyable experience.
- Faster downloads – New games (often 80-100GB) take less time to download when you have a very fast internet connection, like M500 broadband (or Gig1, our ultimate broadband for hardcore gamers).
Our M500 broadband package is incredible. It’s perfect for large households where lots of people are online at the same time, even if they’re doing pretty download-heavy things. If M500 sounds good to you, why not keep an eye out for deals with £0 setup cost. Visit broadband no setup for more info and you can also check for current deals.
It sure is! That means you can stream, game, browse and keep your smart speakers connected without worrying about fair usage limits, traffic management or speed throttling with our unlimited broadband deals.

This can handle most online activities with ease. From downloading large files fast and playing online games to streaming and watching videos in HD.
516Mbps is the average download speed for our M500 broadband (that’s 8x faster than the UK’s average download speed). Uploads average speeds of 52Mbps. Sure is! Netflix’s minimum recommended broadband speed for streaming in Ultra HD (4K) is 15Mbps. You get to enjoy a smooth, high quality experience on a 500Mbps broadband connection, even when multiple devices are online, at the same time. And because all of our broadband deals ae unlimited, including our M500 packages, you won’t have to set your Netflix video quality to low or medium to use less data.
500Mbps broadband is blazing-fast, allowing you to stream in ultra-HD on 20 devices, all at the same time! It’s perfect for busy households who are all streaming ultra-HD content at the same time, or for people who do a lot of online gaming and require a stable connection.
